Subedar Ajit Singh – Maha Vir Chakra Awardee 1965 War

Subedar Ajit Singh Was from 4 Sikh Battalion. In 1965,during the attack on burkie in Pakistan, he destroyed the machine gun post single- handed in complete disregard of his personal safety. Subedar Ajit Singh Inspired his comrades to destroy the enemy position. Because of his exception devotion to duty, he was awarded Maha Vir Chakra.
